Parents ....the wealth

This forwarded mail..... really would love to share with you...I was about to start series of my life events and then it came to my inbox.......I really love u dad mom...

I love them...at its bset

A simple man tells how his booking an air ticket for his father, his
First flight, brought emotions and made him realize that how much we all
Take for granted when it comes to our parents.

My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the
Airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never travelled by air
Before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same.
In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on
Lufthansa.

The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see
That I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his
Face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was
Preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from
Using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for
Window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen.

He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with JOY

WATCHING him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to
Me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and
It was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this

MEANT A great deal to him.

When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me.

But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life.

As a child how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without
Understanding the financial situation, we ask for football, dresses,
Toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have
Satisfied all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had
To make to accommodate many of our wishes?

Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us?

Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we
Should put them in a good school . Regardless of the amount of donation,
We will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme
Parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed
A lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to
Ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when
They were young, it is our responsibility to ensure that they
Experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually
Answered back without patience.. When my daughter asks me something, I
Have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have
Felt at those moments.

Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take
Care of our children, the same attention and same care need to be given
To our parents and elders.

Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for
Making him wait so long for this small dream.. I do realize how much he
Has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best
Possible attention to all their wishes. Just because they are old does
Not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing
For their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too..

Take care of your parents

Don't stare at me...this is a soul search

Learning is happening everytime...every minutes and seconds, everytime in a different innovative way...its life time learning experience. If you ask me to train anyone, I prefer to select an experiential learning way..Practice..practice and practice...that is the hardest way. Everyday we are going through some learning. Tonight I want to share one learning experience...

I was thinking about myself, these questions are to me from an 'Inner me' and I'm bound to answer..this also is a new learning experience for me..

Will you agree, if I say you have a multiple personlity disorder? agree or disagree...You have!!!

When you are in the morning rush at home, if your baby boy or younger brother block your way, you will scold him or push him aside. What will be your reaction if the same thing happened in your office? obviously it will be a very soft "excuse me".... is this a different personality who wants to impress others ?

When your office secretary wears a beutiful dress, defenitely you would have said "looking gorgeous today" but how many time you said the same to your wife or Sis?

When your friend's mom prepare some snacks and coffe for you, you would have said " the best food I ever had". How many times you said tha same to your mom and wife eventhough they prepared the best food with a special ingredient called love?

When your friend takes off for a week, you would have said "Dear, I gonna miss you..." How many times you said this to your Dad after you grown up?

When your boss motivates you (ok! positively, at least some time yaar), you would have said "thank you somcuh, it was fantastic"...did you ever say the same to your dad when he tried to motivate you in studies?

Why do you have two faces......positively or negatively.....be with your life....your love...passion follows....If you are following the same pattern, you can start a new course in MIM - Master in impression management. Manage that with love notwith mask

Here your inner sree signs off...its your turn to think now and not answer....its action.. Love you

After the interval........

I took a break for sometime from the blogging world as I was really busy with some new assignments. For past sometime I'm teahing and practicing entrepreneurship and its really awesome to meet young, charming and dynamic entrepreneurship aspirants. After seeing their faces I'm so confident that India is really going to be the best emplyer and economy in the world. Moreover I'm really happy to see some people who wants to be in social entrpreneurship or be an entrepreneur for a societal cause...simply fantastic....I'm going to be with them for some more time....I want to see them in action...and this is for them

"After the interval he came back, I look into his eyes, the spark I saw...that was the brightest diamond I've ever seen.......I heard him...that was the most beautiful dream any one can see....I read him...that was the sharpest vision I've ever read.....I envied him...because he was one among those twinkling stars.....here I'm going to be a small kid....and going to learn from them...a new way of learning....How can I keep that sparks till the end?

About "500 Miles"

Last day I was searching for something else and this song came across. Its charm really attracted me. This is being categorized in country song or folk song which was so popular in the United States and Europe during 1960s. The song is all about a lonely traveller who is far from home, out of money and too ashamed to return. The song offers the lament by that traveller. The song is popularly known as “500 miles away from home” or “Railroaders’ Lament. The song is considered to be written by Hedy West as he is said to have learnt a version of the song as a child from her paternal grandmother. The first recording of the song that gained attention - meaning that virtually every other version below was derived from it - was by the fabulous Journeymen - Dick Weissman, Scott MacKenzie (of "San Francisco" fame) and soon-to-be Papa John Phillips.
The song hit the floor by American country music singer Bobby Bare in 1963.Country legend Bobby Bare had the charting single version of the song with a lyric that he completely re-wrote and copyrighted. It has also been recorded by Peter, Paul&Mary, The Hooters and many others. “500 miles” which you are hearing is being sung by “The Hooters”. Follow the lyrics.....it’s really nice......

"500 miles away from home"

500 Miles

If you missed the train I'm on
You will know that I am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles
A hundred miles, a hundred miles,
A hundred miles, a hundred miles
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

Not a shirt on my back Not a penny to my name
And the land that I once loved is not my own
Lord I'm one, Lord I'm two,
Lord I'm three, Lord I'm four
Lord I'm five hundred miles away from home

A hundred tanks along the square
One man stands and stops them there
Someday soon the tide'll turn and I'll be free
I'll be free, I'll be free I'll come home to my country

Someday soon the tide'll turn and I'll be free

If you missed the train I'm on
You will know that I am gone
You can hear the whistle blow a handred miles
Lord I'm one, Lord I'm two,
Lord I'm three, Lord I'm four
Lord I'm five hundred miles away from home...
I'll be free, I'll be free
I'll come home to my country
Load I'm five hundred miles away from home
You can hear the whistle blow a hundred miles

CONFESSION

It was not my mistake, it rained...
I never hurt the sky to cry
It was not my mistake, sun hid...
I never cursed him for burning me
It was not my mistake, moon stared...
I never teased him with jasmine
It was not my mistake, stars laughed at...
I never told them my dreams
It was my mistake,I pride aloud...
"Sunny days are ever for me,
To make me laugh, love and learn
Moon and stars are ever for me
To show me the way in darkness"
Was it my mistake, that I mistook..
They never mistake on my takes,

Business Sustainability - Ticks and Tricks

Business Sustainability:

Business Sustainability is a broad term which can be defined in dimensions of Time and Growth. It is a pursuit of nonstop life time growth, keeping up with the changing time and market trends. Growth can be either vertical or horizontal but it should help the organization to survive in this hyper competitive world of opportunities. To sustain in this world each business or profit centre should do the cost - value and risk – return analysis of its products and services as people prefer high quality at a lowest cost.

Achieving business sustainability:
In a holistic perspective, business sustainability can be achieved only through better resource management. A business or an organizational sustainability mainly depends on its three stake-holders

The business sustainability can be achieved only through the proper relationship management of internal and external customers which ultimately leads to increased shareholder value. Proper management of external customers (end user of product or service) can be attained through continued innovation, excellence in service delivery, at low cost. Equipping the internal customer (Product or service provider) to satisfy the need of end user by providing proper training, excellent infrastructure which is supported by proper branding leads to a better relationship between these different entities. This will increase the share holders’ value and helps in maintaining the business sustainability.

Key Challenges and Risks in Business Sustainability:
There are a lot of challenges and risks to sustain the business growth especially in this so called recession period or economic down town, the key factors as identified are

“By the year 2040, only 15 per cent of the world’s population will be living in what are now called developed countries. It’s therefore essential for today’s business planners to start focusing on the rest of the planet. Fortunately a strategy centred on emerging markets can be both financially profitable and socially responsible” Barbara Kux of the Dutch multinational Royal Philips Electronics.
• Identification of new horizon and expansion can be another option to maintain the sustained growth in the economic down turn.
Risk Management Strategies incorporated by various organizations:

In-sourcing also is a very practical method which will equip the capable employee to provide the supporting functions which organization needs. So some function will be performed by the employee and his team as separate entity still contributing to the increased organizational performance. Now majority of the companies are opting for flexible work force which is another method of managing resources to survive in the difficult times and managing the risk.

Gifts and appraisal can make a great influence in employee motivational level and which leads to grab the buy in of employees in the process of upturn the downturn.

Measuring Organizational Sustainability:

Organizational sustainability can be measured through the evaluation financial performance of the organization based on cost-value and risk-return basis. No business or organization can be sustainable without proper management of energy. So the minimal energy wastage can be a measuring tool for business sustainability.

Its all about Life

I had been very busy for past some time...new life...new place..new friends and ofcourse new booooooooooooooooooooks. Its all about life at singapore.

It seems strange to see such sort of disciplined people...nice and clean city...People struggling to reach their way...smiling face of SINGAPORE...

Might be the loneliness feelings...can create wonders (hope you won't agree. but I'm suffering the loneliness which hurts, but still tell me to write and share my night thoughts, so that I can forget my feelings...

Its all about life...for next few months...a life of loneliness...sometimes it hurts..some times laugh at me...sometimes force me to be with friends...some times force me to write...Its gonna be a mixture of emotion and experience...

"Like the lotus waiting for the sunrise
Like the dew drop who reflects his smile
Like me here waiting for my sunrise
Sothat I can spread the smile everywhere"

I'LL BE BACK...

Crown

One day I went to little town
Just to buy a princess' crown
Last night dreamt my prince has come,
and took me to his golden pride

Then I went to little town
Just to buy a princess' crown

Shopkeeper was short and stout,
busy in laughing stare and frown
Again I asked for the princess' crown
He laughed at and gave a crown of clown.
